ESN Strathclyde
The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is the largest student association in Europe, present in over 500 Higher Education Institutions. It was born on the 16th October 1989 and legally registered in 1990 for supporting and developing student exchange and mobility.
ESN Strathclyde is the section at the University of Strathclyde, and is one of 18 sections in ESN UK and one of 3 sections in Glasgow.
ESN Strathclyde welcomes those international students visiting Glasgow and Strathclyde from all around the globe! We aim to make these incoming students feel welcomed and ensure they get the most of what our city has to offer!
Who are we?
Our committee is made up of current Strathclyde students, some of which have taken part in semesters abroad and others who are just passionate about making sure everyone feels part of the Strathclyde community.
What do we do?
We organise events around campus and Glasgow to try to give every student the opportunity to see what Glasgow has to offer. Some of these events include; a treasure hunt, beer pong and a ceilidh. We also run a buddy system for those students who want a local Strathclyde guide to make their move to Scotland as easy as possible!
Who can join?
ANYONE! We want to reach as many international students as possible from any country!
